Tips and Tricks Pottery Class w/ Valerie Williams

Explore ways to work more efficiently on the wheel! Valerie will demonstrate small modifications and techniques that can improve your pieces and save time. Learn to throw with less water for stronger pots, collar pots with a claw, try different ways to make a gallery, and use your rib to make waves in your clay.

This is perfect for those looking to expand their technical skills, but it is not for beginners. Students must have the skills and confidence to center, bring up an even wall, and pull out a floor to be eligible for this class.

Open to ages 18+. Clay for practicing is included in the class fee; production clay is not included.

Class Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum enrollment is not met, classes are subject to cancellation. If a class is canceled, registered participants will be notified and issued a refund. If you register for a class and cannot attend, you must notify us at least 1 week in advance of the start date of the class for a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given after the one-week notice deadline.
