"The Last Days of Judas Iscariot"
by Stephen Adly Guirgis
The Last Days of Judas Iscariot is a contemporary (2005) work by Pulitzer-prize winning playwright Stephen Adly Guirgis. Set in a courtroom in Purgatory, the play puts the age-old, cautionary tale of betrayal to a dark, funny, and unsettling trial, the course of which is sure to make the audience reconsider what they thought they knew about forgiveness, truth, faith, and the humanity of religion's most infamous traitor. Calling on witness testimony, and expert opinions like Sigmund Freud, Mother Teresa, and the Devil himself, Run of the Mill Theater Company invites you to their first production to help address some the darkest doubts lurking in every human soul.
