SMOKE OUT HUNGER

The Food Bank of Iowa works to alleviate hunger through food distribution, partnership and education. Now, you can support The Food Bank of Iowa by joining us for the first annual Smoke Out Hunger, presented by Nationwide, on Sunday, July 31, 2016 from Noon – 4 p.m. at Brenton Skating Plaza in Downtown Des Moines!

Smoke Out Hunger will raise awareness of food insecurity in Iowa and funds to help the Food Bank of Iowa accomplish its vision of a hunger-free Iowa. The event’s centerpiece is barbeque, prepared by chefs and restaurants from Central Iowa, complemented by live music from Brother Trucker and complimentary beer from Doll Distributing, wine, soda and water providing a one-of-a-kind urban riverside BBQ!
