Learn how to use freezer paper and an inkjet printer to transfer photo images onto fabric. Experiment with a few prints, then take your favorite and turn it into an art piece with stitching and embellishments. Judy will share some embroidery techniques, and you can go through our stash of trim, fabric scraps, buttons, and beads to find the perfect additions to your textile.
Bring 5-8 photos to class that have good definition (not blurry). Images can be actual photos or ones that are printed on regular paper. Some basic embroidery/hand-stitching skills are helpful to have in advance of class.
Open to ages 18+. All supplies included in class fee.
Wednesdays beginning September 18, 6-8:30pm for 2 weeks
ISU $38/Public $48
Registration Notes: A $1 MidwesTix service fee will be applied to each ticket, and a 3% processing fee will be applied to online purchases. ISU price is available for current students, faculty, and staff only. Bring your ISU ID to the first class to avoid an upcharge to the public price.
