Noble Bodies is Bryce Taylor (guitar/vox/drums), Elaine Bradley (drums/vox/guitar), and Chris Bennett (bass). Together, they started the band ‘Another Statistic’ in the fall of 2004, but then broke up in January of 2008 due to irreconcilable differences (ie - they weren’t all on the same page about what to do and how serious to be) and as Elaine (arguably the most serious of them all) had already been drumming for famed alt-rock band Neon Trees.
In the fall of 2016, while Neon Trees were taking a much deserved break, Elaine was asked to sit in with Late Night with Seth Meyers’ 8G band for a week and as she hates practicing the drums by herself, she called up Bryce to come play with her before the show tapings. After the first day, Bryce called Chris and suddenly new music was being written and grand ideas were starting to form. The three of them were quickly reminded that they love creating music together and decided to do something about it.
In April of 2017, Noble Bodies was officially born. The band discussed reviving the Another Statistic name, but ultimately decided to start fresh and hey, Noble Bodies is way a cooler name! They released their first single, "What A World," the following September and dropped their It’s Ok It’s Hell EP that November.
They band is currently recording new material and released another single, "Take Me Down," in May 2018. They hope to have the album ready sometime this year.
Des Moines rockers Volcano Boys will open the show.
