Marlon Wayans

Marlon Wayans is an actor, producer, comedian, writer, and film director. Best known for his roles in the comedy films White Chicks with Shawn Wayans, Jamie King, and Terry Crews, and Scary Movie, with Anna Faris, as well as the action film G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra alongside Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Wayans’ has additionally been featured in Darren Aronofsky’s hit drama Requiem for a Dream, with Jared Leto and Jennifer Connolly; The Coen Brothers’ comedy thriller The Ladykillers, with Tom Hanks; and the hit comedy The Heat, with Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy, among many other films.

Most recently, Wayans wrote, produced, and starred in Fifty Shades of Black, a parody of the 2015 erotic drama film Fifty Shades of Grey, and also recently concluded the 2^nd season of his NBC sitcom Marlon, a family comedy loosely based on his own life that is centered around a loving (but immature) father committed to co-parenting his two kids with his very-together ex-wife, played by Essence Atkins. 

In addition to his work in films and television, Wayans continues to regularly tour and perform his hilarious stand-up comedy sets, selling out shows across the nation.
