The Maidens Weekend

The life cycle of a women has been described as Maiden, Mother and Crone. Maidens are in formation. They are discovering themselves as women and making choice that will effect their lives for the rest of their lives. This is the time for deep caretaking of Maidens by the Mothers and Crones in a community. Pollinate Ritual is devoted helping young women to make their transition into the adult world with a community they can count on.

The Maidens Weekend will bring 30 women, ages 14-17, together to experience what deep caretaking and community look like. Our devoted core team of Mothers and Crones will guide the Maidens through themes of  authentic belonging, setting healthy boundaries, powerful decision making, honoring their bodies, and creating and maintaining community for each other. We will access nature, art, movement, rest and play in our programming. Healing arts practitioners will lead group meditation and mindfulness practices. Nurturing meals all weekend and tools to go home with and navigate a challenging world.
