Level I Wheel Pottery Class with Bree Engelhardt

An introduction to creating functional pottery for those new to the pottery wheel. Learn the building blocks of centering clay and pulling cylinders, then use these skills to create bowls, mugs, and other forms. Smooth and refine your pots after trimming and practice glazing techniques. Build the skills and confidence to continue throwing independently in our open studios.

This class is open to beginners who are 18+ only.

All supplies included in class fee.

Tuesdays beginning September 1, 3-6pm for 6 weeks

ISU $170/Public $180

Registration Notes: A $1 MidwesTix service fee will be applied to each ticket, and a 3% processing fee will be applied to online purchases. ISU price is available for current students, faculty, and staff only. Bring your ISU ID to the first class to avoid an upcharge to the public price.

Class Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum enrollment is not met, classes are subject to cancellation. If a class is canceled, registered participants will be notified and issued a refund. If you register for a class and cannot attend, you must notify us at least 1 week in advance of the start date of the class for a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given after the one-week notice deadline.
