I.C. Kings present PRIDE

Yaaaaassss Queens!!!

Strut your stuff and have a gay ol' time with the I.C. Kings this month because this is OUR MONTH to celebrate, and we earned it ten times over these last three years! 'Tis the season to celebrate our true selves, who we love or want to love. 'Tis the season to reflect on all the brave ancestor queers that came before us and fought for the rights we have today. And 'tis the season to continue the uproar for our family who are still fighting for their rights or are having their rights chipped away.

This year's Pride marks 50 YEARS since the Stonewall Riots gave us our first Pride Parade. Make sure you turn out for all the Iowa City Pride Events in town and honor that history by supporting what so many of our family and friends have worked so hard to put together. It is time now more than ever to occupy the space, be visible, and let everyone know that "We're here! We're queer! Get used to it!"

IC Kings will be serving up weird GENDER QUEER PERFORMANCE ART at Studio 13, so put us down on your Gay Agenda for Thursday, June 13th, 2019 at 9:30ish PM! Sexy Stonewall Studs include: Chey Boi, Wiley Guyote, Franky D. Lover, Tommi Bau-ie, and the return of Matt Adore! With special guests Mr. Lewis Stratton and Peter Pipeher!
