The Clay County Fair powered by SMU announces Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone with special guest The Association as part of the SRG Concert Series on the Bud Light Stage at the 2023 Clay County Fair on Monday, September 11 at 7:30pm.


Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone has sold over 60 million records. Noone himself is a multi-talented entertainer, who has been delighting audiences nearly all his life. At the age of fifteen, Peter achieved international fame as “Herman,” lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits. He has 20 top 40 Hits including “I’m Into Something Good,” “Mrs. Brown, You’ve Got A Lovely
Daughter,” “I’m Henry VIII, I Am,” “Silhouettes,” “Can’t You Hear My Heartbeat,” and more. In all, fourteen singles and seven albums went gold.


One of the most successful bands to come out of the 60’s, The Association has sold millions of records, tapes, CDs and DVDS as well as earned a number of achievements including a Golden Globe nomination in 1970 for Best Original Song – Goodbye Columbia. They have also received RIAA certifications for 6 gold and 3 platinum records. Their hits include: “Cherish”, “Windy”, “Never My Love” and “Along Comes Mary”.


Tickets will go on sale Wednesday, June 21 at 10:00am. Prices are $33 (general admission stage front seating), $28 (reserved Grandstand seating), and $23 (general admission bleacher seating). Tickets will be available online at www.midwestix.com, by phone at 515-244-2771, or in person at the Events Center Box Office. Handling & processing fees, which are applied to all purchase methods,
are included in the advertised price.


About the Grandstand Bag checks are conducted at all Grandstand events. The following items will be prohibited: weapons/firearms, alcoholic beverages not provided by the Fair & Events Center, air horns/whistles or other noisemakers, helium-filled balloons, glitter/confetti, glass bottles, fireworks and illegal substances.
