Hand-built Pottery Class with Valerie Williams

Hand-building can result in an organic look, as well as pottery with more refined features. Starting with a pinch pot, explore and learn how to elevate your piece by using tools for smoothing, carving, and adding texture. Move on to our slab roller to create sheets for practicing the skill of joining clay for building functional ware. All skill levels, including beginners, are welcome!

Open to ages 18+. All supplies are included in the class fee.

Registration Notes: A $1 MidwesTix service fee will be applied to each ticket, and a 3% processing fee will be applied to online purchases. ISU price is available for current students, faculty, and staff only. Bring your ISU ID to the first class to avoid an upcharge to the public price.

Class Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum enrollment is not met, classes are subject to cancellation. If a class is canceled, registered participants will be notified and issued a refund. If you register for a class and cannot attend, you must notify us at least 1 week in advance of the start date of the class for a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given after the one-week notice deadline.
