Enjoy a hike on a Loess Hills prairie remnant with incredible diversity and scenic beauty. The prairie was recently purchased and protected by the Iowa Natural Heritage Foundation. Participants will have the first opportunity to hike the ridges which express a premier example of Loess Hills prairie. 

Field trips may be subject to adverse weather. Field trip leaders will contact attendees if severe weather is an issue. Please bring your own water bottle, boots, hat, sunscreen, bug spray, camera and snacks.
