Enjoy Hidden Bluffs Farm with numerous prairie and savanna remnants and over 100 acres of reconstructed prairie and recreated oak savanna. Active projects are on-going with over 20 new acres added this year. Participants will be able to see active succession with multiple native plantings ranging from 1 to 25 years in age. Seeding methods and invasive species management will be discussed. Hidden Bluffs Farm was an early adopter of the Iowa State Prairie STRIPS program and is experimenting with natives in waterway conversions.

Field trips may be subject to adverse weather. Field trip leaders will contact attendees if severe weather is an issue.
