Codfish Hollow Hill Prairie Walk

Enjoy a walk on Codfish Hollow Hill Prairie which offers over 100 native plants that are considered unique or uncommon. The landscape shows a mosaic of remnant prairie hilltops, reconstructed prairie, woodland, and savanna components. Landowner, Ray Hamilton, will discuss management and stewardship practices, especially measures taken to protect sensitive species and promote their unique niches.


Field trips may be subject to adverse weather. Field trip leaders will contact attendees if severe weather is an issue.
