Our NEW series of Digital classes now allow you to keep learning with us from the comfort of your own home at your own pace! Classes are pre-recorded, so no need to worry about delay, or missing out on vital information. Registrations for MEAL KIT classes close 72 hours prior to class for ordering purposes. NO KIT registrations open until 1:30pm PST on day of class.


Fresh Cheese Making 101!  You will learn the science behind and scrumptious results of making your own fresh cheese!  We'll be making Lemon Cheese and Farmers Cheese in this class.  In times of learning a new skill to make due with what you have or if you've ALWAYS wanted to learn to make your own cheese...we have you covered all the whey! Class comes with bad cheese jokes.


You will receive an email on the 'day of class' with the video(s) and recipe packet with ingredient list and equipment we suggest for whether you have purchased a meal kit for pick-up at the shop on the day of class from 2-6pm or decide to shop on your own.


Please note, substitutions or allergy requests are not included in the meal kit option (please make appropriate subs at home) Thank you for understanding!


Ingredients needed if NO kit option is purchased:  If you register WITH the kit included, we will provide all ingredients and the cheese cloth and twine from the equipment list


1 gallon of whole milk, 2 whole lemons, 1/2 cup of fresh herbs of your choice...we love chives, tarragon or thyme...or all three if you like! 1/4 cup distilled while vinegar, 2 cups buttermilk, kosher salt (to taste)


Equipment you will need: 1 medium to large sauce pot...should be atleast 3 quart size, thermometer, spatula, 4, 8"x8" squares of cheese cloth, 2, 6" pieces of butchers twine or something comparable.  A large pot, bowl,or container to hang your cheese over to drain. 1-2 bowls to mix cheese with salt and herbs.
