Our NEW series of Digital classes now allow you to keep learning with us from the comfort of your own home at your own pace! Classes are pre-recorded so no need to worry about delay, or missing out on information. Registrations for MEAL KIT classes close 72 hours prior to class for ordering purposes. NO KIT registrations open until 1:30pm PST on day of class.
Technique and fundamental cooking methods will be covered in this class. You will learn how to saute, braise, roast and pan fry. Learn how to master the basics and demystify great tasting, well made meals. The hows and why's will be covered allowing you to execute these cooking methods the right way on everything you cook! This class is great for everyone...from the beginner to the well 'seasoned' cook who wants to learn the science behind the cooking methods.
You will receive an email on the 'day of class' with the video(s) and recipe packet with ingredient list and equipment we suggest for whether you have purchased a meal kit for pick-up at the shop on the day of class from 2-6pm or decide to shop on your own.
Please note, substitutions or allergy requests are not included in the meal kit option (please make appropriate subs at home) Thank you for understanding!
Ingredients needed if NO kit option is purchased, this is for 2 servings of each recipe(some of the recipes in the packet are for up to 4-6 people):
- 1/2 ea whole head cauliflower
- 1 Tbsp dried nuts of your choice
- 1 Tbsp minced dried fruit of your choice
- 2 cups green beans
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1-2 Tbsp. marsala (this could be substituted for white wine, tamari, stock, etc.)
- 1 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 2-3 boneless skinless chicken thighs
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 inch piece of fresh ginger
- 1/4 bunch fresh cilantro
- 1 lime
- 1 cup chicken stock
- 1 Tbsp. curry paste (we love Mae Ploy brand yellow curry paste)
- 1 cup coconut milk (full fat)
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 Tbsp. fish sauce
- 1/2 eggplant
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup AP flour mixed (sub any gluten free flour or blend here, we like rice flour)
- 1 Tbsp dried italian seasoning
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs (crushed crackers or tortilla chips work great too!)
- 1.5 cup of your favorite tomato sauce
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
