Embroidered Embellishment Class with Judy Lemish

Adding embroidery to a neckline, sleeve, or pocket makes clothing feel new again! In week one, bring one or two light to medium-weight shirts made of natural fibers (such as cotton). We stocked up on pre-made “stick and stitch” designs, or you can draw your own idea and learn basic stitches to get started. The following week, see how to do visible mending (or stain covering) with Sashiko patterns, or bring a more challenging item like jeans to try. Not sure what to bring? Hit a thrift store and let’s upcycle!

Open to ages 18+. All stitching supplies included in class fee.

Registration Notes: A $1 MidwesTix service fee will be applied to each ticket, and a 3% processing fee will be applied to online purchases. ISU price is available for current students, faculty, and staff only. Bring your ISU ID to the first class to avoid an upcharge to the public price.

Class Cancellation Policy
Classes require a minimum number of participants. If the minimum enrollment is not met, classes are subject to cancellation. If a class is canceled, registered participants will be notified and issued a refund. If you register for a class and cannot attend, you must notify us at least 1 week in advance of the start date of the class for a refund minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be given after the one-week notice deadline.
