8th Annual Stouts, Sours and Oysterfest

Join the American Legion Post 1976 for our 8th Annual Stouts, Sours and Oysterfest at the Club 76 The Lodge.  

This is our biggest fundraiser for the American Legion Post 1976 - proudly serving Raw Oysters, Grilled Oysters, Low Country Boil, and Bouillabaisse, and a selection of over 18 Stouts and Sours for your enjoyment. Both VIP and General Admission tickets are available. There are additional day-of food options available for purchase on site. A portion of the proceeds, and any additional donations benefit the American Legion Post 1976 in an effort to support our community partners in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Corridor.  

A NOTE ABOUT COVID:  Thank you for your patience to allow our American Legion planning committee additional time to organize a community event during these uncertain times. We modified this year's event to be mindful of COVID health and safety concerns.  

Limited Tickets Available: For everyone's safety, we are releasing fewer tickets and operating this year's event at 60% capacity. Because this is a much smaller event than in years past, ticket prices have increased $10. However, we are providing additional food with each ticket purchase and extra seating options. COVID has adversely affected many non-profit organizations this past year. Our American Legion has been unable to offer the variety of fundraising events compared to previous years. We greatly appreciate your support of this event so we can continue to serve our community.

Outdoor Seating: This is primarily an outdoor event - PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY FOR THE WEATHER. We have extra outdoor table seating available this year with approximately 10 large picnic tables on a first-come basis and additional outdoor space should you wish to bring your own chairs to spread out. We also have a limited amount of OUTDOOR TABLE RESERVATIONS available to purchase (see below). There will be outdoor bathrooms only.

Indoor Seating: Our indoor bar will be closed except for a limited amount of seating for VIP ticketholders who purchase our INDOOR VIP TABLE reservation package. Only those with Indoor VIP table reservations will be allowed inside the bar.

Outdoor Beer Tents: Additional beer tents will be outdoors so all ticket holders, regardless of being indoors or outdoors, will have full access to all the food and beer options.

VIP SINGLE TICKETS ($85 oysters/low country, $90 bouillabaisse):

• 10:30 am early entry.


• 1 dozen raw or grilled oysters. low country boil, or serving of bouillabaisse (1 order/ticket).


• 1 small cup of gumbo.


• 1 commemorative t-shirt.


• 1 commemorative pint glass.


• 1 event taster glass.


• 5 taster beers. 

GENERAL ADMISSION SINGLE TICKETS ($35 oysters/low country, $40 bouillabaisse):

• Entry at 11:30 am.


• 1 dozen raw or grilled oysters, low country boil, or serving of bouillabaisse (1 order/ticket).


• 1 small cup of gumbo.  


• 1 taster glass.


• 2 taster beers. 

TABLE RESERVATIONS ($50/table): 

Gather your friends! We are offering two different upgrade options (limited amount available) to purchase full-table reservations.

• Indoor VIP Tables: 4-Person VIP indoor tables with exclusive access to the inside bar. Extra early entry at 10:00 am. Indoor VIP table reservations require everyone have a VIP event ticket. We request that those purchasing indoor tables understand the expectation is that you will remain seated at your tables to avoid congestion inside the bar. 4 VIP Indoor Wristbands will provided upon check-in and must be worn to access the inside bar.

• Outdoor Picnic Tables: 6-Person picnic tables in our spacious outdoor beer garden reserved for your party for the event. Available to both VIP and General Admission ticket holders.

Please note that table reservations are not required to attend this event. Separate outdoor table seating will be available on a first-come-first serve basis for all customers.

All ticket holders need to be checked in by 1PM to ensure their food reservation.
