Dan Rodriguez

Minneapolis-based artist Dan Rodriguez continues to create a buzz in the Midwest with his groove-based, bluesy over-toned music and powerful, seductive vocals. Rodriguez describes himself as a whiskey & beer drinking, fishing & hunting loving, motorcycle riding, quality food eating, hippie sympathizing, people loving, husband & father who lives and shares a life with his amazing wife and adorable son.   

A Detroit, MI native, Rodriguez moved to Minneapolis when he was 18 to study music, and says that he stayed because he’s “one of those crazy people that enjoys the snow and cold weather.” When he’s not in his studio writing songs and cutting records, or on the road playing shows, Rodriguez can be found tending to his backyard chickens, eating fresh veggies from his wife’s huge garden, or engaging in one of his many outdoor hobbies.

Rodriguez’s popular single “I’ll Be Waiting (When You Come Home)” was featured in Budweiser’s “Friends Are Waiting” ad campaign, and he released his acclaimed fourth studio album, Come On Home, featuring that track, the next year.

Rodriguez has shared the stage with numerous artists including The Civil Wars, Andy Grammer, Eric Hutchinson, NEEDTOBREATHE, Augustana, Tyrone Wells, Haley Reinhart, John McLaughlin, Will Hoge, Drew Holcomb, and Sister Hazel, to name a few. His most recent album, the 2018 EP  25 Years, was met with praise from critics and fans alike.
