Music Under The Canopy has teamed up with Civic Music Association to celebrate their 90th Anniversary by bringing you the first ever Des Moines Jazz Festival. Day 1 will feature headliner, Hiroshima!

Vibrant, eclectic & truly original, the multi-GRAMMY nominated Hiroshima creates a musical world all its own. The intoxicating mix of traditional Japanese folk music & instruments interwoven with Jazz, R&B, Salsa & more has been a pioneering voice in contemporary music since the 1970's. After 30 years and 4 million records sold worldwide, they continue to make their unique mix of East meets West their signature sound.  

Gates open at 6:00pm. Prices increase at the gate, so save some $$$ with an advanced ticket purchase! This is a reserved seating event.

A limited number of VIP upgrades will be sold and include guaranteed free parking in the VIP lot across the street from the venue, entrance into the special VIP area with a "no waiting" bar, upgraded drink selections, free snacks, bottled water, private restrooms, limited lounge seating and other unannounced perks.
