HALESTORM w/ We Are Harlot

The Clay County Fair is excited to announce an evening of rock music featuring Halestorm with special guest We Are Harlot in the U.S. Cellular Grandstand at the 2015 Clay County Fair on Saturday, September 19 at 7:30p.m.

“As always, our goal in the Grandstand is to provide something for everyone,” said CCF Manager Jeremy Parsons. “This night of active rock featuring a Grammy Award- winning group will be one to remember.”

Halestorm pushes musical boundaries with well-crafted songs that rise from a whisper to a scream, proving there’s no limit to their creativity. They won a Grammy in 2013 for Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance for the song “Love Bites (So Do I)” and their newest album Into the Wild Life has Halestorm at the top of the charts again. Their first single, “Apocalyptic,” went #1 on the mainstream rock chart. By embracing this style of music and their songwriting skills, they are able to appeal to fans of both Heart and Metallica.

We Are Harlot’s first single “Dancing on Nails” confirms that they are here to conquer with their staggering versatility and breakneck pace. The band’s big personality comes through from the start of their performance to the end. We Are Harlot performed “Denial” on Monday Night Raw program on World Wrestling Entertainment and became widely popular. They are on tour with countless dates scheduled through 2015 and beyond.
