If you are a Steely Dan fan, The Fez is going to knock your socks off! The Fez is a 15-piece band composed of some of the finest musicians in Eastern Iowa dedicated to faithfully reproducing the jazz/rock fusion masterpieces of Steely Dan. Featuring a 4-piece horn section, 3 backup singers, 2 keyboardists (including a genuine Rhodes 88), 2 guitarists, and one of the best rhythm sections around, The Fez captures the magic of Steely Dan's glory days. The band is comprised of veteran players from other notable bands, such as Public Property, OSG, Dr. Z's Experiment, Jumbies, Insectoid, Saul Lubaroff Jazz Ensemble, Amanda Miller and the Super Secrets, We Funk, Big Funk Guarantee, various big bands, etc, etc.

The Low Down
The Low Down is an instrumental ensemble exploring their love for funky music that makes people want to dance. With influences ranging from Wes Montgomery and Jimmy Smith to Jimmy Hendrix and Booker T., the music offers a jazz sensibility while staying true to groove funk. The band formed as a side project in 2012 with Eric Wilson on drums(Justin Morrisey and Friends and Gov't Peanut Butter), Randy Leasman on Bass(The Candymakers), Craig Heidgerken on Guitar(The Uniphonics), Josh Forbes on Sax(The Candymakers) and Nick Vasquez on Keyboards(The Candymakers).
