11th Annual Stouts, Sours, and Oysterfest

Join the American Legion Post 1976 for our 11th Annual Stouts, Sours and Oysterfest at Club 76 The Lodge.  

This is our biggest fundraiser for the American Legion Post 1976 - proudly serving Raw Oysters, Steamed Oysters, Low Country Boil, Bouillabaisse, and Gumbo. This year we are offering a NEW option of steamed oysters instead of grilled oysters. As always, a selection of 18 Stouts and Sours for your enjoyment. Beer list coming soon with the possibility of more beers to be added. Both VIP and General Admission tickets are available.

A portion of the proceeds, and any additional donations benefit the American Legion Post 1976 in an effort to support our community partners in the Iowa City-Cedar Rapids Corridor. 

OUTDOOR EVENT: This is primarily an outdoor event - PLEASE DRESS ACCORDINGLY FOR THE WEATHER. There will be outdoor bathrooms only. We have very limited reserved indoor seating available but a large supply of outdoor seating. 

TICKET LIMITS: There is a limit of 12 total tickets per transaction; a maximum of 6 VIP tickets, 1 indoor table bundle and 1 outdoor table reservation. VIP tickets purchased with an indoor table bundle will count towards these limits. For example, if you purchase an Indoor 6-person VIP table bundle you have maxed out at VIP tickets but are able to purchase 6 additional GA tickets, if supply is available.

VIP SINGLE EVENT TICKETS ($100 Oysters, Low Country Boil, Bouillabaisse):

• VIP early entry at 10:30 am.


• Select one food item: 1 dozen raw or steamed oysters, low country boil, or serving of bouillabaisse.


• 1 small cup of gumbo.


• 1 specialty 11th annual event t-shirt.


• 1 commemorative pint glass.


• 1 event taster glass.


• 5 taster beers (5 oz).


• Max 6 VIP event tickets total

GENERAL ADMISSION SINGLE EVENT TICKETS ($40 Oysters, Low Country Boil, $50 Bouillabaisse):

• Entry at 11:30 am.


• Select one food item: 1 dozen raw or steamed oysters, low country boil, or serving of bouillabaisse.


• 1 small cup of gumbo.  


• 1 event taster glass.


• 2 taster beers (5 oz) . 

TABLE RESERVATIONS: Gather your friends! There are three different upgrade options to purchase reserved table seating (limited amount available). Please note that table reservations are not required to attend this event. Non-reserved outdoor table seating is also available on a first-come-first serve basis for all customers.

• Indoor 4-person VIP Table Bundle ($500/table): This bundle includes 4 VIP event tickets and a reserved indoor table. 4 VIP Indoor Table Wristbands will be provided upon check-in and must be worn to access the inside bar. 


• Indoor 6-person VIP Table Bundle ($750/table): This bundle includes 6 VIP event tickets and a reserved indoor table. 6 VIP Indoor Table Wristbands will be provided upon check-in and must be worn to access the inside bar.

PLEASE NOTE:  There is a VERY limited supply (8) of indoor tables. There is a limit of one indoor table bundle per transaction. You will need to enter ticket name, food selection, and t-shirt size for all tickets in your bundle. We request that those purchasing indoor tables understand the expectation is that you will remain seated at your tables to reduce congestion for our staff and volunteers that are working inside the bar.

• Outdoor Picnic Tables ($50/table): This reserves a full-size picnic table that seats 6-8 people and guarantees your seating. Reserved outdoor tables are located in a premium location in our spacious outdoor beer garden and reserved for the duration of the event. Available to both VIP and General Admission ticket holders. This option only reserves table seating and does NOT come with event tickets. You will need to purchase individual VIP or GA event tickets with your outdoor table reservation.

DAY-OF FOOD OPTIONS: Additional day-of food options prepared by Amos Dean catering are available for purchase on site. Day-of food menu will be released at a later date.

OUTDOOR BEER TENTS: Beer tents are outdoors so all ticket holders, regardless of being indoors or outdoors, will have full access to all the food and beer options.

All ticket holders need to be checked in by 1PM to ensure their food reservation.
